Best blender 2022: blenders from KitchenAid, Ninja and more

Editor’s Note: October 2022

The Vitamix A3500 continues to be our #1 blender. It has an impressive number of speed settings and programs, and it creates delicious smoothies. We recognize that it is expensive, though, which is why we have bumped up the Breville blender to position number two so you can easily jump to it if budgets are tight.

We’ve also just put the Zwilling Enfinigy in this guide which is one which we reviewed this summer. This is also a really good blender, and is one which incorporates safety features such as not operating until the lid is fully closed.

We all know that freshly made smoothies and soups are a brilliant way of eating healthily on a budget, and the best blenders are a fantastic tool for whipping up breakfast blends or hearty dinners in a flash. In addition, blenders are incredibly versatile and can make meal planning a whole lot easier (and more delicious!).

But as with many kitchen appliances and accessories, you can’t get away with choosing a blender randomly – this isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. For example, those who want to make single servings of smoothies before rushing out of the door in the morning will need a jug blender. In contrast, those who want to turn those leftover potatoes, leeks, and cream into something delicious should opt for an immersion model. For more advice on this, take a look at our jug blenders vs immersion blenders guide.
